AD ASTRA - concert band

Ad Astra, to set a goal, and no matter how hard it is, try to achieve it.

That is the general idea behind Ad Astra, a concert piece which is challenging, robust and intimate.

The story line: a young lad grows up, and decides to do 'something', anything. The idea grows to go to the top of the mountain. And after setting this goal, he goes on his way. With attitude, self confidence and a general positive vibe. The way towards the goal however, is lonely, and a lack of confidence - fed by a feeling of loneliness - gets a hold of his mind. A feeling of disappointment is what this leads to. But, after a while, adrenaline starts to build up, leading to a 'let's get this done' after which he goes on his way again, stronger than ever, to finally reach the goal.
